The Hammer Crusher is a versatile crushing device that utilizes the impact of rotating hammers to process materials. It is widely utilized across various sectors including metallurgy, mining, chemical processing, cement production, construction, and the manufacturing of refractory and ceramic materials. This machine is adept at reducing both hard and soft ores into intermediate or smaller fragments, encompassing a spectrum of materials such as barite, limestone, gypsum, terrazzo, coal, slag, and more than a hundred different types.

Working Principle

The Hammer Crusher is composed of a frame, rotor, support iron, and grate bars.

The frame is bifurcated into an upper and lower section, joined by steel welding after being cut. High manganese steel liners within the frame are replaceable once they wear out.

The rotors are made up of a turn plate, pin shafts, and hammers, which are arranged in a regular pattern around the main shaft. Driven by a motor, the rotors rotate swiftly within the crushing chamber, causing the hammers to extend outward due to the centrifugal force.

Materials that enter the machine through the feed opening are subjected to striking, impacting, cutting, and grinding by the high-speed hammers to achieve a smaller size. Crushed materials that meet the standards are sifted through the grate bars, while those that do not are retained in the crushing chamber for further processing until they reach the desired size. The final product's dimensions can be adjusted by modifying the grate bars, and the clearance between the rotors and the grate bars can be tailored to meet different specifications.
