Mineral grinding machine is designed for super-fine grinding materials with hardness less than 6 in Moh’s scale and humidity less than 6 percent, such as kaolin, limestone, basalt, calcite, marble, talcum, barite, gypsum, dolomite, bentonite mud, mica, pyrophyllite, sepiolite, carbon black, diatomite, graphite, alunite, fluorite, potassium feldspar, phosphorite, pigment, among 200 other kinds of materials.
The granularity (or final size) of the finished products can be freely adjusted between 325-3000 meshes (0.045-0.0057 mm), and the capacity ranges from 0.4T/H to 12T/H depending on the final size and the grinding materials.
The HGM Series Mineral Grinding Machine operates on the principle of impact and attrition. HGM series Mineral Grinding Machine consists of main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.
After materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, they are transported to the storage hopper via elevator, and then evenly fed into the upper distribution plate of the turnplate by the vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.
When the Mineral Grinding Machine is operating, all grinding rollers are rolling in the ring, driven by the centrifugal force to the edge of the turnplate. The materials fall into the grinding chambers where they are repeatedly pressed, crushed, and ground by the rollers.
The high-pressure air blower continuously inhales air within the Mineral Grinding Machine. The airflow, containing crushed materials, is directed to the classifier. The high-speed impeller of the classifier screens the airflow: particles that do not meet the required size criteria fall back into the grinding mill for re-grinding, while those of the appropriate size mixed with air are directed into the cyclone powder collector. The majority of the qualified powders exit through the discharge valve at the bottom, while a small proportion of fine powders, along with the airflow, proceed to the dust cleaner, adhering to the surface of the filter bags. These fine powders are dislodged from the filter bags by the sudden vibration caused by high-pressure gas ejected via the pulse valve. Materials from both streams are collected by the conveyor at the bottom for packaging as finished powders. Additionally, clean, filtered air is emitted from the muffler's air outlet.
